1 of COVID-19 Patients in U.S. Is Vice President Mike Pence’s Staff
US VICE PRESIDENT – The spokeswoman of United States Vice President Mike Pence confirmed that his staff is positive for COVID-19.
One of the countries across the globe that is now faced with a huge challenge of containing the spread of the COVID-19 is the United States. The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in U.S. has already surpassed 10,000.
U.S. is now under a national emergency as declared by President Donald Trump. The said move frees a huge budget for the healthcare of the country in the right against the spread of the coronavirus.
Not only ordinary citizens were infected by the virus. Those who usually engaged with public are also susceptible to the disease.
Based on a report on Inquirer, a staff of U.S. Vice President Mike Pence is one of the COVID-19 patients in the country. His positive result to the test was confirmed by Pence’s spokeswoman.
According Katie Miller, the Vice Presidential staff had not any contact with Pence who takes the lead in the fight against COVID-19 in Washington based on the report.
Also, the spokeswoman of the Vice President said that the staff had not any contact with Pres. Trump. Currently, the contact tracing of those people that the staff had a contact with is conducted.
