Update on PNP Chief Archie Gamboa After Helicopter Crash
PNP CHIEF ARCHIE GAMBOA – Philippine National Police Chief Archie Gamboa was rushed to the hospital following a helicopter crash.
The 21st chief of the Philippine National Police, one of the major security forces in the Philippines, is Police General Archie Francisco Gamboa. He is also a lawyer.
Gamboa is from Davao. His post now requires him to make frequent travels. Recently, he went to San Pedro, Laguna.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, PNP Chief Archie Gamboa was in Laguna for the inspection of impounded vehicles. He was off to Calamba after it.
However, unexpectedly, the helicopter carrying the PNP Chief crashed shortly after its take-off in Laguna. According to a reporter of ABS-CBN News who was at the place when the accident happened, the aircraft tangled with the power lines.
Based on the report, rescue efforts came and Gamboa was conscious when he was rescued. He was immediately brought to the hospital.
The aircraft has other passengers. The PNP Chief’s companions including a 2-star general who obtained a head injury were also brought to the hospital.
Reportedly, at around 8:20 in the morning, the aircraft was still in flames. Currently, there are still no updates with regards to the condition of the PNP Chief and all who were aboard the chopper.
OMG !!! Was it a brand new helicopter they used or just another second hand helicopter from US? Was it an engine malfuntion accident or a sabotage?
