A certain video caught the attention of the netizens when a local government official in a certain barangay announced an advisory the opposite way.
This, as the said video, which was circulated online, showed that a local government official’s car was roaming around the streets in a certain barangay, announcing an advisory to the residents.
The Philippines was under a state of public health emergency over coronavirus, and the local government officials imposed ordinances in its territory. Yet, residents still didn’t follow the advisories, ordinances, or orders from the national government and the local government units.
Since the local government official believed that residents in a said barangay were not following the advisory, that official has to present it the opposite way. Here’s a full text from the viral video:
Mga Ka-barangay,
Tayo po ay nasa state of calamity at kasalukuyang under enhanced community quarantine dahil sa panganib na dulot ng novel coronavirus 19.
Pinapayuhan po ang lahat na tumambay sa labas at huwag po tayong mag-ingat.
Patuloy po nating kuwestyunin ang gobyerno at maghintay ng mga libreng alcohol, de-lata, bigas, noodles, at maging pabigat.
Mahigpit pong ipinagbabawal ang pananatili sa loob ng tahanan.
Huwag po kayong mangamba na makipagtsismisan, makipagyakapan, at makipaghalikan.
Hawaan po natin ang ating mga pamilya, kamag-anak, kaibigan, at kakilala.
With this type of announcement, that official probably believed that people were not following the advisory, thus, that official has to present it the opposite way in order for them to go against the announcement and follow the national government’s orders.
