The test results conducted on three patients from UP Diliman for coronavirus disease or COVID-19 were already out. As reported by ABS-CBN News, the results were all “negative”.
This, after university officials earlier said that two faculty members were admitted to the hospital after exhibiting flu-like symptoms, adding that one patient from the UPD community, which officials didn’t say if it was a staff member or a student, was also a suspected carrier of the coronavirus disease or COVID-19.
In a statement, the University of the Philippines in Diliman said that the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM) has released the test results of all three PUIs, and “these are negative for COVID-19.”
The university encouraged its community to donate disposable surgical gloves, face masks, surgical gowns, and 70% alcohol in order to help the UP Health Services keep the campus free from coronavirus.
