Pokwang called the attention of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) and cinemas after netizens complained about the removal of showing Culion and Mindanao to selected theaters.
In her personal Facebook post, Pokwang was disappointed about some malls who were responsible for removing MMFF entries Culion and Mindanao in theaters. She hoped that the MMDA will prioritize more on making dialogue with other cinemas.
